Anterosuperior Glenoid Impingement Syndrome
Anterosuperior glenoid impingement is a well documented cause of shoulder pain. It occurs when there is deep tearing of the subscapularis, with fibers becoming embedded between the anterosuperior glenoid and humeral head. To our knowledge, this has not been described in radiologic literature and we present MRI findings depicting this entity.
متن کاملRadiological determination of the anatomic hip centre from pelvic landmarks.
There are various methods to locate the rotation centre of the hip joint on standard pelvic radiographs. When the geometry of both femoral heads is abnormal, a number of methods are available to locate the physiological hip centre from anatomical landmarks on pelvic radiographs. The accuracy and reliability of six methods were retrospectively investigated on 115 standard pelvic radiographs of b...
متن کاملAnatomic properties of myocardial bridge predisposing to myocardial infarction.
BACKGROUND A myocardial bridge (MB) that partially covers the course of the left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) sometimes causes myocardial ischemia, primarily because of hemodynamic deterioration, but without atherosclerosis. However, the mechanism of occurrence of myocardial infarction (MI) as a result of an MB in patients with spontaneously developing atherosclerosis is unclear. ...
متن کاملArthroscopic treatment of anterosuperior rotator cuff tears.
This study evaluated pre- and postoperative clinical and structural outcome data on anterosuperior rotator cuff tears involving the supraspinatus and subscapularis treated by arthroscopic methods. Between June 2006 and October 2007, a total of 155 consecutive patients underwent an arthroscopic repair for a supraspinatus or supraspinatus and infraspinatus (superior) rotator cuff tear. Of these, ...
متن کاملDimensional accuracy of three impression materials by one-step and two-step impression techniques: An in vitro study
Introduction: An accurate impression is essential to create a well-fitted dental prosthesis. This study aimed to compare the dimensional accuracy of three elastomeric materials using one-step and two-step impression techniques. Methods: In this study, 20 impressions were fabricated for each Vinyl siloxane ether (Identium), condensation silicone (Speedex), and a...
